Rooted in Purpose

Growing in Wonder

Hello! I'm Sarah, the founder of Wild Roots Learning.

As a wife, mother, educator, and lifelong lover of books, I've always believed that the best learning happens through meaningful relationships, rich stories, curiosity, and hands-on experiences.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and an Associate Degree in Child Development. Over the years, I've had the privilege of serving children and families in public schools and as a library branch manager, where I discovered just how powerful books and community can be in shaping a child's love of learning.

Wild Roots Learning was born from a simple dream: to create a welcoming place where children are known, encouraged, and inspired to grow. I'm building this little learning space right here in my own backyard—not just to provide tutoring and enrichment opportunities for local families, but to create a place where children can gather, explore, create, and grow together.

One of my greatest hopes is that my own children will grow up seeing the value of education, service, hospitality, and investing in their community. I want them to witness firsthand what it looks like to open our home, build meaningful relationships, and use the gifts God has given us to encourage and serve others.

Whether I'm working one-on-one with a student or leading a small enrichment class, my goal is to cultivate curiosity, strengthen foundational skills, and nurture a lifelong love of learning in an environment that feels warm, peaceful, and full of wonder.

I'm passionate about partnering with families to provide thoughtful, literature-rich educational experiences that help children flourish—academically, creatively, and personally.

Thank you for visiting Wild Roots Learning. I hope this becomes a place where your family feels welcomed, supported, and inspired to grow.
